SGTech Launches Resource Guide for Generative AI to Drive Digital Transformation for Businesses
SGTech has recently unveiled the ‘Generative AI for the Tech Workforce’ resource guide, aimed at assisting businesses in leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) solutions for digital transformation. This initiative comes in response to the government’s National AI Strategy 2.0, with SGTech taking on the role of Skills Development Partner to address the evolving landscape of GenAI.
The resource guide, developed in collaboration with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and AI Singapore (AISG), provides practical insights and resources for SMEs and other businesses looking to integrate GenAI into their operations. It offers a comprehensive overview of GenAI, its impact on businesses, jobs, and skills, serving as a valuable tool for business owners and individuals navigating the changing technological landscape.
With input from 30 pledging companies in GenAI skills adoption, the guide includes three use cases of GenAI in business solutions, a tech talent profile, and a spectrum of GenAI skills required for employees. It also offers resources and support for business owners looking to adopt GenAI for their businesses and employees.
SGTech’s Co-Chair of Talent Steering Committee, Mr. Benjamin Mah, emphasized the importance of aligning skills development with technological progress, stating that the future of work depends on the flexibility of individuals and organizations to embrace technological advancements. AISG’s Director of AI Innovation, Mr. Laurence Liew, highlighted the collaboration with SGTech in defining tech talent profiles and skills to support the development of the GenAI landscape.
